Abstract: A pregnant mother’s health status is vital to the good health of her baby. During pregnancy, eating a nutritious diet is associated with a good growth of the fetal brain, a healthy birth weight, and decrease in the risk of certain birth defects. During pregnancy, women who eat well and exercise regularly along with routine prenatal care are less likely to have complications. They’re even more likely to give birth to a healthy baby successfully. Pregnancy is a special time during which conscious nutritional support is needed for increased nutritional needs. In this time of life, inadequate and imbalanced nutrition causes severe conditions that affect both the child and the mother. The goal of this study was to examine the relationship during pregnancy between pregnancy and nutrition/nutritional habits. During pregnancy, nutrition plays an important role in improving pregnancy outcomes. Maternal nutrition can lead to poor intrauterine growth and a baby’s low birth weight. In addition, diet is directly or indirectly connected to the leading causes of maternal death, such as haemorrhage and infection. Since Bangladesh is a poor country, 40% of the population lives below the poverty line. Therefore, consuming healthy food with low income is very difficult. The majority of respondents from the village were chosen by us. Since we’re trying to see what kind of food mothers eat during pregnancy in the village and how they’re born. The aim of this study is to measure the effects of mother’s food habits during pregnancy on the newborn baby.
